Housed in a greenhouse-like building with onsite showers and running coaching, Run Run Run is a cafe like no other.
Vegetables grow within the walls of the two-floor eatery, which promises “clean eating”, and a environment where customers can “transform their bodies”.
Organic offerings include baked goods, salads, “goodness bowls” and smoothies, plus coffees, beers and cocktails.
Running visitors can even use the onsite showers, but be prepared, the facilities are only separated from the rest of the building by a pane of clear glass, so you’ll be baring all. Perhaps they’re more of a design feature than a place to cool down? We’re not sure!
Either way, running and fitness is a central ethos of Run Run Run and personal training is the latest addition to the Madrid business, which will be hosted by international athlete, Sonia Bejarano.
The pet-friendly cafe has been well received on Trip Advisor since its recent opening with customers praising its vegan options and staff, who they said were friendly and attentive.
We can’t wait to visit this venue when travel is back on the cards — a great option for those running the Madrid Marathon, and an asset for the local running community.
We’d love to see more places like this in the UK. Is there a great running cafe near you? Or have you visited somewhere similar in the past? Let us know in the comments, we’d love to feature them on Running Mums too.
